This photo taken in Franklin, Tennessee appeared in my OneDrive memories for this day in 2009. Even though I remember lugging the lumber and driving the nails, I can hardly believe I built that chicken house on wheels. I traded a Ruger .22 pistol to a guy from Murfreesboro for the flatbed trailer and went from there. $1 scrap windows from a junkyard, all the wood inside for the nest boxes from pallets rescued off the streets of Nashville, even the ramps made with scrap plywood pulled out of a dumpster. Looked like a gypsy wagon when it was finally painted and protected from the elements with scrap tin roofing from a farm near Cookeville .
I figured we could all use a break from political news for the day. Back to work tomorrow.
Does it have fowl injection or use a cowburator?
Well, sir. I have respected you for your writing and insight up to now, but now I have another perspective from which to offer my respect. Well done.
