You know I'm having a moment as I stand by and watch them try to eradicate all that resulted in my attending, surviving, and graduating from West Point. I know that it will not remain, but I fear that the damage will take a generation to reverse (and the tarnish on the standard that is Duty Honor Country ..). It was hard enough enduring the 'he's alright for a West Pointer' (or favorite ' for a black West Pointer)! Now we will have to dig out from under this mess ...

I lost a good friend (and a potentially excellent leader) after Camp Buckner when it was discovered that she was a lesbian. Imagine how she must feel now, knowing that several of her former classmates who graduated excelled in the Army.

I can only imagine how the current cadets must view this example of harder right/easier wrong, and lack of courage demonstrated by the current leadership of the Academy. It took a civilian professor to demonstrate what the military leadership should have.

A commander in chief and secretary of defense destroying the military and the rest of the country with their ignorance, racism, misogyny caused by their own inadequacies.
