Not only were there only white men at the signing...it was done under a picture of a slave plantation.

Remember, 74,000,000 racist birthers were enrolled by Trump almost 10 years ago. Half the Repubs believe he won the election. This will take awhile to sort out.

It's pretty apparent that the southern states are still unwilling to admit they lost the Civil War and that they're supposed to treat all people equally under the law. Boycotts work, and yes, they're expensive, but they're the only action that does make the GOP stand up and pay attention. Money always does.

I remember the Simon and Garfunkel song "The Sound of Silence" from the 60s & 70s. Since then others have rendered their version including one of my favorites by Pentatonix. However, the most powerful rendition is by Disturbed. Check out the YouTube video. It is so relevant to the intensity and turmoil of our day.

I absolutely love the Disturbed version!

I live in Atlanta. Spent a lot of my childhood and adolescent years here too. What happened is this. Since the election of Rump, groups, mostly women, formed with one mission: get him out. I was in several. We met and marched (until quarantine) and then we wrote postcards by the thousands, encouraging a straight Democratic ticket.

Brian Kemp stole that election. Stacy Abrams registered huge numbers of voters after that. In short, we won. The legislature here, an anachronism where Tooterville has an equal say to Atlanta, went insane. So did Kemp. That is what you’re seeing now. And yeah, we’ll boycott. Atlanta is where these good ol’ boys cornbread gets buttered, and they don’t like it — but they know it.

And now (Washington Post reports) Mitch McConnell is initiating his assault on those corporate dissenters. He is the fascist head of state—he’s like Putin, threatening “consequences “ and Marco Rubio tweeted, “Why are we still listening to these woke corporate hypocrites on taxes, regulations & antitrust?” Of course tRump is back there, urging for a fight. They’ve already got their Linguistic Spin Labels: “WOKE CANCEL CULTURE” and governors like Abbot and Kemp have declined to throw baseball’s opening season pitch. Waaa, waaa. Hey, @delta.com, move your headquarters out of the rabid South!! And Jerry Jones thought kneeling was a threat...
