Power outage here in NE PA. First a garbage truck hit a large power line about 5 miles away knocking out power to a 4 town area. Then just as they got that fixed in the middle of the night, a Pepsi truck took out a local power pole at the end of our street. Don't know when it will be back up. Here's what it looks like down our street
:
I took out a telephone line once when I was delivering to a grocery store on the Oregon coast when I was in their parking lot. Unless somebody trains you to do it, you learn very quickly to stay the hell away from the side of the road. On your street I probably would’ve been driving right down the yellow line, conscious all the while, of course, of opposing traffic.
So much of truck driving you have to learn the hard way. That’s what this poor slob found out.
They don’t pay enough for these jobs.
Hey, Lucian, welcome to our 3rd world power grid. We don't need no Federal gubment spending all that money on unnecessary infrastructure. Real 'Mericans know how to survive.
