So while Trump is alive, even if he is no longer President, he will be the power broker for MAGA and supplicants will come begging his favor.
After Trump is gone from this Earth no one will rise to replace him. Actually, many people will rise to try to replace him but he will not be around to pick the winner. Our best hope may be that we can be almost sure a living Trump will never anoint a successor because he will refuse to give away any of his power while he's still alive to use it.
