Kitten watch: Day Four

The six o’clock news this evening had stories about Ron DeSantis being an aggressive, unlikeable bully, and leaked videos from Fox News showing Tucker Carlson being an aggressive, unlikeable bully, and a story about the summations at the E. Jean Carroll defamation and rape trial against Donald Trump showing him to be an aggressive, unlikeable bully, among many other even more disgusting things.

But I thought I would take a night off from all that unlikeable, distasteful news and give you a taste of another kind of news altogether: Kitten Watch, Day Four.

You will notice from the photo above, that mommy Graycie has transitioned from an exceedingly wide tiny cat back to her status as a normal tiny cat, and her kittens, whose eyes have yet to open, have already started growing. As of 7 p.m., Graycie has inhaled four cans of kitten food. When she is not nursing kittens or inhaling kitten food, she sprawls on the living room floor and makes little brrrrrpppt noises at Ruby and Tazzy as they pass by. Ruby has been in to see the kittens in their box once today, and when she lowered her head to get a better sniff, Graycie leaned up and touched noses with Ruby, which was just as heartbreaklingly sweet as it sounds.

Tracy and I will keep you updated on the Kitten News, as I go back to covering the news about all the aggressive, unlikeable bullies in our nation’s politics, as well as the six aggressive and unlikeable Supreme Court justices, and other aggressive and unlikeable things like the AR-15 that is being used almost daily to murder children and adults in this country.
