Yes, he’s a loser. But it only really counts if we rally as many votes as humanly possible on November 3 to take down the Republican Congress - to turn it upside down

Charlie's avatar

...and inside out!

Richard Ellison's avatar

Not only must we vote, the vote must be protected, and accurately counted.

Yes T is beaten and battered, but he has various thugs and the military at his corrupt disposal, who almost assuredly (per T’s direction) will seek to disrupt, i.e., render uncountable, roughly 2 dozen Congressional Races.

I have yet to hear from anyone, anywhere, how that virtually certain many-pronged assault upon our country can/will be defeated.

I await insight.

Timothy Cooper's avatar

I believe that the polling places and the vote must be thoroughly monitored inside and out, before, during, after, even long after the election. We need a lot of people to accomplish it, but I'm sure it can be done

- Karen Cooper

Richard Ellison's avatar

Sure hope you are right.

I have doubts, based upon the violence that will almost 100% occur.

For example, I fully expect some form of fed military will kill state National Guardspeople and/or citizens doing their duty.

Timothy Cooper's avatar

I, for one, am willing to take the risk. It wouldn't do the regime reputation, such as it is, any good to have people treated with violence at the polls. I think .... maybe ...

- Karen

Richard Ellison's avatar

as if reputation is a concern

Lady Emsworth's avatar

Yes. The idea of trump or the rest of them being concerned about "reputation" made me smile. They have no reputation left to protect - and wouldn't care if they did.

Richard Ellison's avatar

“i think…maybe…”. yes, we know what we’re dealing with, regrettably. be well.

And then we have to work hard to make sure that the remnants of the Republican Party don't rush to enroll as Democrats. The Dems have enough problems as it is, and some of them will almost certainly welcome a pull to the white right.

Nancy Sullivan's avatar

Mr Nathan, After winning, Democrats MUST govern in a way that “the people like”! FDR got elected 4 times, Jimmy Carter-1 time. OLD people are dragging the party down.

PS: Biden/Harris brought Trump back! Bill Clinton is now speaking for Democrats. He is not the quality of person we need; look at his record. Winning is NOT everything; it’s just a start…1/2 of voters picked Trump. :(

Foolish men imagine that because judgment for an evil thing is delayed, there is no justice; but only accident here below. Judgment for an evil thing is many times delayed some day or two, some century or two, but it is sure as life, it is sure as death.

From what I understand, gasoline and other energy prices will remain high well past the elections. Dems better hammer this home constantly.

Timothy Cooper's avatar

Yes, it will take time to get hundreds of ships moving through the Strait and weeks for the oil to reach refineries in the various countries, then it must be refined, of course. And our oil companies have made obscene profits during this "war" and will continue to take advantage for as long as possible

- Karen Cooper

Donald Nathan's avatar

Don’t expect gasoline prices to go down over the course of the next few months. After the election, it’s possible that steps can be taken to mitigate the madness caused by the greedy oil companies.

I suspect Whiskey Pete is going to get a good look at the bottom of the bus soon. Trump needs a scapegoat and he's the obvious pick.

Adam's avatar

twump already set him up at a WH newsconference where he singled PissyPetey out as really having wanted to go to war with Iran. You know how he does. Acts like he was merely a bystander and someone else made the decision.

I love the w in place of the r. Thanks for the smile!

Trump did have a small win rooting for the Knicks even tnough it was the Spurs that got him out of Vietnam.

Judith Testa's avatar

Ha! Nice pun on the word “spurs!”

Donald Nathan's avatar

What win? What I heard was that he was booed by his fellow New Yorkers

Helen Stajninger's avatar

He got booed- bigly

And blamed for the Knicks loss that night!

He sure was Booed Big Time!!

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

He called being booed with such vitriolic rage a win…

He might as well be as he been stepping in shit for a long time!

LOL about the (bone) Spurs.

The only game Knicks lost in the Finals was the one Circus Clown in Chief attended and slept through.

Schadenfreude!! What a wonderful feeling!! I have not one scintilla of sympathy for Trump and all his sycophants! I know that's not very becoming or very Christian! Sister Ambrose would be very upset with me! But I love it! All those people killed and displaced and for what? Nothing! Complete failure!! All his lies and those of his minions cannot erase this result!

Claudia Classon's avatar

My word, too! Total schadenfreude. And no guilt for it.

Adam's avatar

Guilt? Pray tell madam. What is this... guilt that you speak of?

Claudia Classon's avatar

Ha ha! No guilt at all for enjoying his humiliation.

Adam's avatar

Hahahahaha! Good for you. I feel the same way too!

Frankly, I'm surprised Trump showed up at the G7 with his massive ego shattered. Otherwise I could have pictured him slumped dejectedly in his chair at the Resolute desk.

He cannot deny that he's a big-time loser now, but he'll give it a try, no doubt.

Iran has the upper hand, thus the reluctance by the Trump regime to turn over the text of the Memorandum of Understanding. Iran doesn't even need a nuclear weapon, they have the world at their mercy through control of the Strait of Hormuz, but they won't give up on developing them, why should they?

Karen,

The inevitable comparison to Barack Obama's deal he canceled in his first term will be devastating when we get the particulars of the one just completed! Good!! He is such a piece of garbage!!

It's just so sad that we Americans have to wish failure on our "president", but we do. He has destroyed our country and deserves every bad thing that comes to him.

Yes, he is a loser, but he was able to draw attention away from the Epstein files. This whole war, expending billions of dollars and costing thousands of lives was all a ruse to get the focus off of what he and his buddy did for years together.

arne link's avatar

And now he's going to invade Cuba. Huzzah. Epstein, Epstein, Epstein!

Someone on a different platform wrote the following. It sure sums up my feelings: “Billions of dollars, thousands of lives, and untold property damage later, we are worse off than we were on February 27, and far worse than before Trump walked away from the JCPOA.”

Well, I think we need to watch the orange rat very, very carefully. Rats get vicious when cornered.

M3333's avatar

We lost 13 brave Americans in this “excursion”! Both the Orange POTUS and deranged plastered Petey are war criminals as the Pentagon confirmed that some of the boaters killed in the Caribbean were trafficked folks, NOT drug runners!!! They also killed about 175 Iranian school children whose school was 10 years ago used by Iranian Republican Guard but plastered Petey did not update the targets list!!!
