December marks the 12th month for the Lucian Truscott Newsletter!
A part of me can’t believe I’ve been writing and publishing these screeds on Substack for a year, but the time, and the columns, have flown by.
I’d like to thank my subscribers who have made this newsletter possible. You have not only kept me going but have inspired me with the interest you’ve taken and the comments you’ve made to the newsletter and by email.
While we’re on the subject of my readers and supporters, the subscriptions that began early this year when I first started the newsletter are coming up for renewal. Your subscription will be renewed automatically, but I have been informed by Substack that there are subscriptions that haven’t renewed because the credit card information on some accounts is out of date and needs to be updated. So if you get a notice from Substack that this is the case, please inform us of your new credit card information, and your subscription will continue in January uninterrupted. If you have trouble with your Substack account and need assistance, please inform me and I’ll contact Substack for you to update your information.
So…onward with the next newsletter and the new year!
Merry Christmas, Lucian and Tracy. May the holiday season be as peaceful as possible for you and for all of us, so we can hit the ground running again in 2022. Run we must (sigh). Happy Holidays!
Lucian, the word "screed" always affects me like a fingernail on a chalkboard. So, I looked it up to see why I have that reaction and now I know! Your articles, stories, perspectives and the like are NOT, in my opinion "long and tedious" - which is a meaning given to that word. I find your substack full of vigor and interest and I most certainly will continue to subscribe.
Happy holidays to you and your family!
