Record heavy rains in Northeast Pennsylvania sent groundwater right up through the concrete floor into our basement. This photo was taken after I spent a couple of hours this morning mopping the standing water.
Now, off to Lowe’s for a wet/dry vac and some 2 by 4’s to stick under Tracy’s stretchers, which have been sitting on some thick plastic sheeting that protected them somewhat, but not completely.
And we thought we had left flooding behind in East Hampton…
I am still remodeling a basement following a flood from 2 years ago.
