You would think that the RW of the court who claim to be such proud “originalists” would pay more attention to the clear meaning of those few words. BTW, “originalism” is a BS concept they came up with in the 80’s as a reaction to civil rights and other legislation they didn’t like. I was in law school in the late 60’s (Boalt, ‘70) and we never heard if such a thing in my Con Law classes.
