Walking out to our deck at our new place gives us a stunning view of the Juan de Fuca Straits.

Canoed this river time and again on weekend family outings as a child - usually put the canoe in at Dingman's Ferry and paddled down to the Delaware Water Gap, swimming, exploring and picnicking along the way. A great river - the source of much important learning about the natural world, as well as general solace for a kid who preferred nature above all things "civilized" (still does). Nice to think that you, Tracy and Ruby have it so close by.

It's your place of respite to reorganize and reanalyze the world's troubles... and your renewal to describe them to us with possible solutions...yet. What a great place to be. Good move!

I have canoed the Delaware from Hancock, NY to Port Jervis many times. It was always an adventure one way or another, but one well worth it. Can’t do it anymore, but the memories linger.
