Canoed this river time and again on weekend family outings as a child - usually put the canoe in at Dingman's Ferry and paddled down to the Delaware Water Gap, swimming, exploring and picnicking along the way. A great river - the source of much important learning about the natural world, as well as general solace for a kid who preferred nature above all things "civilized" (still does). Nice to think that you, Tracy and Ruby have it so close by.
It's your place of respite to reorganize and reanalyze the world's troubles... and your renewal to describe them to us with possible solutions...yet. What a great place to be. Good move!
I have canoed the Delaware from Hancock, NY to Port Jervis many times. It was always an adventure one way or another, but one well worth it. Can’t do it anymore, but the memories linger.
Walking out to our deck at our new place gives us a stunning view of the Juan de Fuca Straits.
Been up there, old friend owned a bar near there.
Gorgeous country.
Up near Sequim?

And at a good elevation too I see. You’ll sleep better.
Always love any time you and Tracy can simply just enjoy each other!

All that water and not a vessel in sight?
We saw one skiff coming back from fishing, it looked like.
Keep Washington green!
