Classic kiss-up, kick-down personality. Damn their pusillanimous, hungry souls.

Right on the money. We have two Congressmen down here in Southwest Virginia just like that: Morgan Griffith and Ben Cline, little men. Not enough talent between them to piss in a bucket! mean as hell and totally useless.

I ran into (sometimes literally) a slew of these folk during my career, both male and female. Each one seemed to have the inability to understand how others perceived their ostentatious power grabs. Because I firmly believed Father Andrew Merrow’s sermons, I proceeded knowing lessons are about what I do, not what was done to me. Do the right thing and keep people who need to know informed. Rosen more or less did that, and leaving trmp and Clark with exploding cigars. This episode should be entertaining during the trial.

These people have always been around. That they have become ascendant is deeply disturbing. One wonders what happened to critical thinking in this country. It seems to me in my late 70s, I've been caught by surprise at the volume of stupid people in my country, stupid, small and mean as junk yard dogs, who actually are far nicer than they in comparison.

One of my AA pals here in Florida went to school with McConnell. I said I bet he was one of those student government nerds who wore a coat and tie to school, plotting to take over the world...my pal Tom smiled and nodded yes.

This was in Louisville, KY, where HST grew up, Tom mentioned knowing his librarian Mom. Small world, kiddies.
