I've read where the top brass were not in love with Trump,but a lot of the troops were/are, and they're the ones who are going gung-ho for all the Qanon and white supremacist groups. I would daresay it would be based on being afraid of sparking defections/mutiny in the ranks. But even then, I wonder why they don't go after the traitor.

How did Flynn get to be a three star General? Seriously, this guy has shown himself to be the most outré traitor since Burt Lancaster's performance as "Gen. James Scott in" the 1964 film Seven Days in May, or Douglas MacArthur, in real time, in 1933. It doesn't say much for the Department of Defense that these not only exist, but thrive! Is there no one around to corral these ersatz Napoleons in? Where is Marine Corps General Smedley Butler when we need him now!
All these “should’s,” and yet nothing, fucking NOTHING happens to any of these criminal lunatics! Flynn and Brannon get pardoned by t-Rump; Sydney Powell and the Pillow Guy are still on the loose, as is Giuliani. Until they are all in front of a firing squad, or facing life in prison for treason against the United States, no justice will have been done.
Traitors and right-wing zealots (and I'd add "white supremacists," although there's considerable overlap among those categories) are indeed everywhere, but the ones in the military and the ones in law enforcement are IMO more dangerous than most because they possess both firearms and the training to use them effectively.

i never had much use for officers when i served. with the antics of goobers like flynn i like them even less now.
