The Fugs were way ahead of their time. Or maybe I mean now we’re way behind!

I bet Tuli is going to be a permanent addition to the Truscott-Harris home.❤️

I love, love, love this photo. Tuli looks just right on your shoulder, Lucian.

Tuli is the sweetest little boy! Are you going to keep this one? 😺

I think so.

Yay for Tuli! That means we will all get to watch Tuli grow up.

That is one swell looking kitten on the shoulder of one cool cat.

Such a sweet boy! and my favorite - a tiger stripe. I have had so many tabby cats, but currently have a solid black, a red tiger and a black and white. I think my next kittie will be a Maine Coon. I cat sat a friend's once and fell in love. There are so many adoptable pets in need of good homes, I will wait until the one I want is available and save a life. My dream is to see all shelters no-kill, increase trap-neuter-release and strengthen animal abuse penalties. We owe this level of respect and care to the sentient beings with whom we share this planet.

My previous and my current cats were adopted from a shelter. Both adorable and extra lovable. Lucky me.

I have a farm in a rural area of E TN and all my pets have been dropped at my property. I also have 2 dogs that I took in. The last one a big puppy - about 10 months old and nearly 85 pounds. She is the sweetest girl, so profoundly happy at landing in a good home after obviously being mistreated where she came from. She is my constant companion and protector. I, too, am very lucky.

I hate to brag on you. But many times you come back from reality and deal with real life---like Tuli!

Will you admit you’re keeping at least one and let me win a bet?

Of course.

Cuteness attack! Reportedly their DNA is just a tick away, genetically, from an African Lion. Watch out for that vicious pouncing!!

Our garden is alive with a plant/flower called euphorbia. Since I learned that I am constantly singing “Euphoria” in my head. “When your mind starts wheelin’ and a’walkin’. Your inside voice starts squeelin’ and a’squakin’. Floatin’ around on a belladonna cloud singin’ Euphoria.”

Long live the Fugs and the Holy Modal Rounders!

I have two Holy Modal Rounders albums. Who else could have written a second verse to Charlie Poole’s “Movin’ Day?”

Ed Sanders; author of the best book on Manson family: “The Family: The Story of Charles Manson's Dune Buggy Attack Battalion”

I reviewed it in the Voice. Title of review: "The Age of Psychedelic Fascism."

It was miles beyond Bugliosi’s “Helter Skelter”. People who never would have talked to police or establishment reporters, talked to Sanders. Hope I can find your review!

Vincent Bugliosi, don't get me started.

His massive travesty about the JFK assassination is about ten feet away from where I sit - a weighty tome filled with distortions, bogus interpretations of long debunked "facts" about 11/22/63 and the subsequent investigations - perched on top of a Fender Mustang GT200 amp, awaiting my RE-READING (I suffered through the whole damn book as well as the CD-ROM with crucial info buried in "Endnotes," a short while after the local SE Library branch here in Mpls. had a copy available) to summarize a part of the most egregious assaults on historical fact for publication, on Substack, possibly as my first Substack blog post, that is, on "my own" blog.

You can tell I am slightly obsessed about the JFK assassination coverups, but I'm harmless enough, really!

EDIT: Specifically from pages 1260 through 1346, Bugliosi attempts to dismiss any conspiratorial role by, in order: {The} Right Wing, LBJ, Cuba, and winding up with The Odio Incident and Anti-Castro Cuban Exiles, which extends from p. 1295 - 1346. It's rich with truly astounding claims delivered in a flat, matter-of-fact tone, as if this is all complete nonsense, and completely debunked, when it is anything but that in the case of the RW and the anti-Castro Cubans, "jury still out on LBJ" and we can dismiss any role by Castro, despite some vain ongoing attempts by writers I won't name, to avoid publicizing them at all, even on this tiny (if stellar) area of the interweb, without setting forth a set of researched and organized arguments to show WHY they are so off the mark, etc.

Very confident looking little fuzzy. It's a smile picture and we need them now.

Looks like a mass neutering is in order so you can stay a multi-cat household. Non-neutered tomcats can be sweet, but OMG, they'll spray the house so you'll never get rid of the stink. Your vet will welcome you with open arms and cash register.

Years ago (1970) I was the cinematographer on an independent Canadian low budget film that Tuli starred in. It was called “Voulez-vous coucher avec God?”. Tuli of course played God. I was trying to post a jpeg still in the comment, but apparently does allow for commenters to post images. It is a great photo of Tuli that I would be happy to send you a copy. My email is ken@kenlocker.com. Let me know where to send it. (i have fond memories of hanging out with Tuli and the Fugs in the East Village)
