What a handsome, alert watchdog and squirrel! We see a lot of chipmunks, sparrows and wrens here in our neighborhood on East 6th Street in Erie, PA. I used to see more cardinals, blue jays and woodpeckers when I lived on the west side because we had more mature trees.
We really don't deserve dogs....

Ruby knows where the bodies are buried . . .
We feed a number of squirrels and lots of birds. They both get sunflower hearts/kernels because there's no mess, no shells.
Pulling guard duty is what dogs do best. Now, if we could get them to memorize and recite the General Orders, they'd be real soldiers.
