Russian airborne troops on the ground at airport outside Kyiv

CNN showing images of Russian airborne troops at military airport 20 miles from Kyiv. CNN thought they were Ukrainian troops, then the reporter talked to a Russian officer and discovered they had just parachuted in. Russian commander claimed they, the Russians, were “in control” of the military airport.

I didn’t see any Russian Humvee-style vehicles. Troops were on foot. But civilian cars could be seen driving right by the troops. This means Russians will soon start seizing civilian cars and SUVs and using them to move around.
