Well, Lucian, it was a wonderful first novel. I loved it. Hard to believe how many years ago it was written. We have a long history of family including my wife's, who served, one great Uncle James Rodwell was a brigadier general, Fourth Infantry, and am sure he was acquainted with your grandfather of the Third. I was advised by all to avoid the glory of Vietnam at all costs, so ended up the only one in the family who did not serve. One brother was a submariner and retired as a commander. His last two years were in the Pentagon. He taught me that military intelligence is an oxymoron. Also that there are two kinds of vessels in the oceans, targets and submarines. :)
Just posted on your FB, bought hard copy online, used, "very good condition" for $5.99. Might take me awhile to get to it but been meaning to order for a long while now...
Can't wait to read, however I will not follow the link to buy your novel on Amazon. I always look for an independent bookstore. They struggle these days. Jeff Bezos does not need our money, nor does he treat his employees fairly. I love seeing that other readers boycott Amazon.
Done! You did a poor job of promoting it in your email because you left out the part Amazon leads with, the scandalous sexual liason. Really, Lucian. Look forward to reading it.
I read it when it came out, and recommend it highly.
Dress Gray is great, as are Army Blue Full Dress Gray. Read them all!

Is there an order I should read your books. I am looking for a series of good books to keep me away from the news! Thanks, Hale USMC
Thank you both for your service.
So Lucian which book do I read next?!
I think it may be time for a reread!
I've been wanting to catch up with your novels but I don't have a Kindle and I don't do Amazon. However, there *are* alternatives . . . ;-)
I like to use "Bookfinder.com."
Read it!😍

Not seeing the sale price, neither on the link or if I go directly to Amazon and search for it. What am I doing wrong?
I just clicked on the link, and it took me directly to the page on Amazon where you can buy Dress Gray in Kindle version for $1.99. Try again.
Ay, no! I bet they don’t like my Mexican IP address. Will try VPN. Jeje 😛
Well, I still can’t get the sale price. Mexico has nothing to do with it. Electronics hate me. (Just ask my husband!)😜
Loved this book! got me into Lucian Truscott novels. Wish you would write another one.
I read and enjoyed it when it first came out. Hope it attracts a new audience.

I put the link to Amazon because that's where you get the $1.99 price on Kindle. If you can find a used copy in a bookstore, good on you!
I am saving a full review for when I have finished this superb novel, just find it and read it!
Done!
Have the original. I’ll read again.
I already own Dress Gray on Kindle and read the book decades ago. "Ma'am you're confusing us with the boy scouts"
But I did buy a copy of Full Dress Gray for $1.99!
