I took my nap early today so I could stay up for the whole game. When I got up my wife wanted to talk about what I was going to cook for her for Valentine's Day tomorrow. And I said, "one holiday at a time! Today is Super Bowl holiday!" And because my alma mater, Univ. of Colorado, can't compete in the Pac 12, I root for my boyhood favorite, LSU, where Joe Burrow first made his mark with his poise, elegance, and unbelievable football talent. ("Geaux Tigers," as the Cajun spelling goes.) Since the Bengals are also Tigers, I say, "Geaux Jeaux Burreaux"), though I wish fans of both teams a happy Super Bowl holiday, and pray the game does not go into overtime.
I thought the Rams were overrated, and the Bengals were underrated. Freezing rain or a blizzard would have made the game more interesting. The halftime entertainments were a hoot. All those 'mericuns from Trumistan were suitability outraged by all the hip-hop and rap as a desecration of the Temple of Football, and the Rams winning was both apostasy and a humiliation, despite their quarterback's demonstrated inability to throw a forward pass that consistently connects with the intended receiver. As a Californian, I'm pleased about LA's success, buoyed by the knowledge that the Forty-niners are equally inconsistent in their performance on the field. What struck me was the overall celebratory atmosphere that surrounded the entire event. Win or lose, everyone was having a good time on a warm winter day.
Go Rams.

Very exciting! Beautiful stadium. Go Rams!
HA! I have better things to do than watch men tackle each other like school kids. You know, like shopping! 😃
I'll be walking in the woods with my dog. :-)
Ha! I have nothing better to do (or at least that I want to do). Go, Rams and Bengals!
I’m a Buffalo fan <sigh>. I’ll likely watch the game, but I’ve got no dog in this hunt. Y’all enjoy.
Josh will be there next year!

Nuff said
Yeah, I'm in Louisiana and so go Burrow, because it has nothing to do with football per se.
