Graycie looks like a Maine Coon to me. I love them. Have had five of them. Loads of personality, but all cats do. I assume the vet checked her for a chip. We had one here a while back, very friendly obviously Maine Coon, but outdoors. Finally enticed him to come eat, and he did. Then he got comfortable. Took him to the vet and he was chipped. Owner contacted in a different state. Said she lost him when they were on vacation here six months before (winter). Tearful reunion. Graycie looks like a beautiful cat. Enjoy her.
That was my first thought! We adopted a three-month-old gray puff from our city shelter, and the vet said, “I think you’ve got a Maine Coon.” Gwyn combined a sweet and affectionate personality, an Incongruously soft, mewing voice out of proportion to his mature size, with a majestic appearance. They are wonderful cats.
How precious! I am at the beck and call of 3 kitties and 2 dogs now - all strays. I have a farm in rural East TN, prime real estate for the irresponsible to drop off their unwanted animals. But they always find a loving home here.
Ha! It never occurred to me that my devotion to Mad as a much younger person might be helping me keep my balance (and my relative sanity) in the wild waters we're navigating now. But it makes total sense. The fact that I still know at least 3/4 of Tom Lehrer's songs by heart is also a factor.
She's a beauty! You must have that same light over your house that we have over ours. We have 7 cats and 6 of them found us and adopted us as their humans.
It’s always nice when an animal selects his humans.
LOL, there is a kind of karma to it, I swear.

Another vote for Maine Coon -- and Richard, I love that story!

Well a cat and dog dude for sure, UR.
And a Reporter.
Hope to hear from you next week as the current news is like reading a hybrid version of the Onion and Mad Magazine.
So tonite I'll read some more of Dan Flores book Wild New World. Dan is an animal guy. A good read is his book, Coyote America.
Hasta Manana

Graycie is beautiful! She reminds me of one of my once feral and now friend, Elsa. They are almost twins. Enjoy your evening with the family Lucian.

She’s gorgeous! Let’s have a picture of the whole crew!
Don’t push you luck. Have you ever tried herding cats, particularly when one is a relative newcomer.
purrty...
Congratulations! Gracie is beautiful! Thank you for saving her from the street!😻
So cute!
🎼 ‘with two cats in the house… ‘life used to be so haaard.
I think the lyric is “with two cats in the yard”. Oh, wait, you were personalizing it—sorry Frank….
Welcome Graycie!
May you be rewarded richly for your kind stewardship over these poor orphan critters, who must have been sent to you by a knowing Universe.
PS: Graycie looks like a slightly furrier double of one of our long-ago rescues, Nike.
Relax and enjoy your furry family members.
It's going to be a bumpy week!
Congrats🥰😸
Awwwww!
