I see that most of the guests seem to be buxom women about 50-60 years younger than he is. Perhaps auditioning for their next big part? No lifelong friends or acquaintances? No family? How very sad. (No, I'm not being sarcastic or ironic.)

His kids are a sad story. Daughter uses her mother's professional name, not his. Harvard grad, but her last headlines (a few years ago) were for getting busted shoplifting Sephora makeup. Wonder if the son was invited to the birthday party..He was first seen a bratty and unsupervised little kid at the lectern as Rudy tried to deliver his first inaugural speech. Became a golf pro and djt WH aide (aka djt golf aide). Last seen running for NY governor w/ Pop's useless help.

This adds to the sadness. What was Rudy's life for?

Rudy's marriage to their mother collapsed in public as he womanized while he was mayor. She kicked him out of the mayor's mansion.

To serve as an example for others not to follow? If AA and other 12-step programs permitted advertising, poor Rudy would be a star example of hitting bottom.

In fairness (after a search), the daughter hasn't been as hapless as she sounds above. Her college major was filmmaking and she is making a Hollywood career behind the camera apparently under the Giuliani name. She's a lifelong staunch Democrat with an evolving sexual identity

I was thinking almost exactly the same thing: "Doesn't Rudy have any friends, male or female, close to his own age?"

One of the major attractions Florida has, is that if your Florida home is your legal residence, it is protected from creditors in a bankruptcy. Like Trump, Rudy may suddenly become a Floridian.

Rudy's lawyers wrote to a court in March that "Mr Giuliani splits his time between his Florida and New York City properties. … Both Mr Giuliani and the committee agree that the Manhattan apartment 'should be sold.' Once it’s sold, the former mayor intends to make the Palm Beach condo his primary home, the filing says."

Wonder how long that can go on. He chooses not to live within his court-imposed budget. Looks to me like he's trying spitefully to dry up the assets so nothing will be left to distribute to those Georgia ladies and others he owes.

I TAKE NO CREDIT:

The satirist Andy Borowitz just wrote this:

"PALM BEACH (The Borowitz Report)—The process server who handed Rudolph Giuliani a summons Friday night located him by following a trail of jet-black hair dye, the server has confirmed.

The server, an agent of the Arizona attorney general’s office, said his suspicion was aroused when he saw “drops of an inky black substance” leading to the home of a GOP operative.

“At first, I thought it might have been left by a car with a nasty oil leak,” he said. “What made me suspect Mr. Giuliani was that the goo had dripped in an erratic, weaving fashion.”

According to the server, the former New York mayor willingly accepted the summons, apparently mistaking it for a cocktail napkin.

I really was so excited when I learned his drunken ass got served! Thanks, Lucian, for providing how all that was done. Rudy is such a sleaze, a vulgar old man so it is so appropriate that a woman, AZ’s AG, caught him with his pants down, so-to-speak. I want Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Shaye Moss, to have justice so badly. Also the young woman, he hired and sexually abused, should bring him down too. Happy you took yesterday off to bring us this great news!

All these people are doing everything they can to keep Republicans in power. Why? Because all their traitorous mischief will be swept out to sea and never be heard from again. You want to bring Rudy and the rest of the Klan to justice? VOTE BLUE. VOTE EVERY DEMOCRAT INTO OFFICE. All of them, Trump included, need to be given new housing: IN PRISON with a very long lease.

The sentiment about the "wheels of justice" is just about the only shred of hope I have held onto all these years that there will be accountability. And while I was happy to see those wheels begin to grind Giuliani (even before this, with that $83M verdict against him), I have even been more energized to see those wheels begin to grind the Former Guy in their maw, someone who has dodged justice for more than 50 years, but particularly in the last three. To quote Tina Turner from a different context, "You know the big wheel keep on turnin'."

If I recall correctly (exact details a bit fuzzy) RudE was marketing hisself as a computer security expert (one of "clients" was the putin puppet regime in Ukraine before Zelensky) and accidentally hit a text hyperlink and started wailing that he'd been "hacked". And now being served a supeona via geo location thru texting? I've always thought I have a decent imagination but no way I could make this stuff up. Hilarious!

During the past thirty years or so I’ve wondered about trying former Nazis for crimes against humanity at their ages. Now with Giuliani I see why they are still arrested and tried. They tried to exterminate a race. Giuliani tried to kill my country.

Certain people seem to fall under some kind of hypnotic spell in that cause them to stick to their beliefs no matter how much evidence is presented to them that they are mistaken. This certainly seems to be the case with Guillini.

With Trump I think he deliberately put doubt in people's minds months before the election just in case he lost, then of course when he did lose he insisted the election was rigged, just as he will do if he loses again. His MAGA fanatics of course are also under that same spell. This is common in any cult the master can do no wrong: all accusations are his enemies conspiring against him - including I presume in Georgia where Republicans who had voted for him said he had lost. It all defies logic. Could it be that ego doesn't allow them to admit they were wrong? By sticking to their earlier statements they can never be wrong: it is everyone else who is wrong.

For sure, Philip. . I was thinking thje same thing, what a waste. He had many great roles ahead of him. I was actually on that set as an extra. Never saw myself in the movie which often happens. But they sat me next to Laura Dern and him in a scene sitting near a stage where as the master he was to give a speech, but that but was cut.
