Trump promises new travel ban on Muslims

In a campaign appearance today in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Defendant Trump promised to bring back his travel ban on Muslims “bigger than before and much stronger than before.” CBS News reported tonight that it was the first time Defendant Trump had used the travel ban issue in his campaign for the 2024 election.

"Under the Trump administration, we imposed extreme vetting and put on a powerful travel ban to keep radical Islamic terrorists and jihadists out of our country," Trump told a cheering crowd. "Well, how did that work out? We had no problem, right? They knew they couldn't come here if they had that moniker. They couldn't come here."

"When I return to office, the travel ban is coming back even bigger than before and much stronger than before. We don't want people blowing up our shopping centers. We don't want people blowing up our cities and we don't want people stealing our farms. So it's not gonna happen."

It’s okay, however, to shoot up shopping centers and city streets and the neighbor’s house next door with your AR-15 if you’re a white guy who can afford some Walmart camo and a bulletproof vest and “tactical” gloves and a thousand or so rounds of ammunition. It’s even okay if you’ve got a protection order on you for domestic violence, according to two decisions by Circuit Courts of Appeals around the country, because Justice Clarence Thomas told them that they didn’t have laws against wife abusers buying guns in 1791.

Got that? Muslim families with no terrorist ties, no criminal records, family contacts in the U. S, no. Rednecks with AR-15’s and Nazi sympathies and ties to white supremacists, yes.

That’s a promise from Defendant Trump.
