One of the really great things about the concept behind Substack is the fact that they are a “middleman” between the writer and reader, but they don’t impose the kind of algorithms employed by other tech companies that choose what “content” you see for you.
I have to wait for Android. I also recommend Popular Information and Michael Cohen's newsletter. They're informative and interesting, but nobody writes as well as Lucian.
What if I don't want to subscribe to Substack? I have had zero problems receiving the newsletter in its full length and content and am very happy the way it is.
I just looked at comments on Tracy's Substack app, and I didn't see any "overlapping" sentences. In any case, if there is something you find wrong or annoying about the app, tell the Substack support people and I'm sure they will consider making a change if they get similar complaints from others. It's a brand new app and I'm sure they're still working on it.

Thank you! I have to wait for Android as well. I think I'm up to six SubStack subscriptions now! Yours is usually my first read every morning.
Done!
By the way, I downloaded the app. I kinda like it!

Then don't download the app. It is not a subscription to Substack. It's a way to access it.
Got it. I like it! Just so happens that I also follow Heather Cox Richardson. Yours and hers showed up immediately when I signed in. 👍🏻
Usually I get the substack(s) I subscribe to in my NewsBlur. It lets me share the text and I can also get the original if I want it.
It says I can only get this on my iPhone but I only read your newsletter on my Mac Computer. I hope I will still be able to do so.
I don't know. Send an email to support@substack.com and ask them. They're very good at solving problems that come up with their system.
