If I am remembering correctly, Greitens was a Democrat before he decided to run as a Republican for Governor. He, like Trump, decided that Republicans are somehow more gullible. So they both used that notion for their personal power grabs. Greitens is the epitome of a creep. So, here, in my home “State of Misery,” we may end up with Hawley and Greitens unless the Dems find someone strong to run who can straddle the great urban/rural divide.

One more essay that needs to be widely published. . . People like Mitch McConnell created these monsters (now, where, exactly, has he made his fortune?) They are all mobsters, operating the organized crime syndicate, GOP, a front for the KKKoch Billionaire Gang.

Yes he did. The grim Democracy-killing reaper. He has done more damage to this country than anyone ever could have in a million lifetimes. I'm enjoying his discomfort when Biden starts threatening to tinker with the SC. I hope he's really upset and that Trump continues to call him names. Making deals with the devil should certainly cost you something big.

Ordinarily having a "deep bench" is seen as a good thing, whether you're a sports team or a political party. But the GOP's deep bench looks a lot like the Augean stables.

It's amusing when someone as dishonorable as the likes of Greitens uses the word "honor" in any of its iterations. And the tales that continue around about Kimberly's crude sexual comments everywhere they appear remind me she was once upon a time married to the governor of California who really doesn't look the type to have been married to someone who so convincingly reminds me of a Dominatrix. She sealed that opinion for me when she raised her arms and declared in loud voice "the best is yet to come." Well, it certainly is yet to come with this motley crew. That so much of the country embraces them and this is horrifying. Things run their course. I wish a much-shortened one for this and that they all get what they deserve.

Lucian: Amen. These people are definitely wacko. I heard this morning that Caitlin Jenner is running for Gov of California. I knew Jenner in 1979 (my GF was his wife's best friend). It'd almost I'm possible for me to fathom what's happened to him. Now, for governor???

Ah, Kimberly!

Her only value in recorded history was to sit next to Bob Beckel in the first group on The Five flashing skin.

The good old days.

I didn’t know she had value in recorded history. What a surprise. I stand corrected.
