A nice surprise on a Sunday morning, and a source of pride on a Saturday night
Last night, my son 2nd Lt. Lucian K. Truscott V accepted an award for his great-grandfather, General Lucian K. Truscott Jr., from the Oklahoma Military Heritage Association for having formed the Army Rangers just before World War II.
Tracy and I have more spiders to put up and orange lights to string in the front yard today. Back to the political trenches on Monday morning.

And thank you for the NY Times page shot, oh I'm glad and relieved about this after having bonked them repeatedly for 'balanced' coverage! Yesterday I unsubscribed from the WaPo online subscription in protest of JBezos' greedy bootlicking. I celebrate Robert Kagan for walking out and would have liked to hear other journalists joining him and walking out in protest. Money talks, nobody walks out?
